Why hasn't Shahbaz Sharif resigned yet? He asked.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said that events like Model Town tragedy don’t take place even under the dictatorship regimes, Dunya News reported.
“Gunshots were fired for hours, where was Chief Minister Punjab? Why hasn’t Shahbaz Sharif resigned yet?” he asked.
Addressing media along with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri’s son Dr Hassan Mohauddin, Khan said that 83 persons received bullets in the tragedy, out of which 11 died. He said such acts don’t occur even during the times of dictatorship.
He said that the patients told him that the bullets were fired from the front and on women’s faces, adding that he has never seen such cruelty on women before.
PTI chief reiterated that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah should be put behind bars. He said that barriers outside Minhajul Quran International (MQI) were placed with permission from high court.
“What was the need to conduct operation late night to remove the barriers?” he asked.
“Doesn’t democracy derail by [indiscriminatory] firing?”
Khan alleged that Punjab police is being used as a Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) wing, claiming that police was used during elections as well.
Directing his questions to Shahbaz Sharif, he said that the whole country saw the events unfold on TV.
“Where were you Shahbaz Sharif?” he asked.
He said those who gave orders should be captured instead of lower level policemen.
