Shahbaz orders to tighten security at sensitive places

CM says all necessary arrangements will be made to safeguard life and property of public.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Punjab government has decided to strengthen security at sensitive places, including public buildings and installations in the province.

This was decided at a high level meeting in Lahore headed by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday.

The meeting was attended by Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Naveed Zaman, DG Rangers, General Officer Commanding, and senior police officers.

Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said all necessary arrangements would be made to safeguard life and property of public in the province.

Hailing the bravery and courage of the jawans of armed forces, he said they have rendered matchless sacrifices, which the whole nation is proud of.

Chief Minister said that whole nation is united to foil the nefarious designs of terrorists in the country.

He said that elimination of the curse of terrorism is a must for peace in the country. He said that Pak-army is equipped with professional capabilities to cope with the challenges being faced by the country.
