Policeman among five killed in Karachi firing
Four target killers have been arrested from different areas of Lyari.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – In the ongoing spate of violence, five people including a policeman have lost their lives in different areas of the metropolis.
One person was shot dead by unidentified attackers near an imambargah in Rizwiya Society. The victim was identified as Fazal Abbas.
An ambulance driver was killed in shooting incident on Lyari Expressway while another citizen was shot dead in Jinnah Square.
Some unknown suspects opened fire on MA Jinnah Road, killing a police officer identified as Yousaf. The deceased was appointed at Garden Headquarters.
A person identified as Bashir was killed while another person got injured in shooting incident within the limits of Steel Town police station.
On the other hand, law enforcement agencies have continued targeted action against the criminals in the port city.
Rangers have arrested four suspected targeted killed during raids in different locations of troubled Lyari.
According to Rangers spokesperson, the suspects identified as Qurban Bangali, Abdul Aziz, Zohaib and Ishtiaq belong to Waseem Wehshi Group.
Qurban Bangali has confessed to 53 murders, Abdul Aziz 27, Zohaib 29 and Ishtiaq has confessed to killing of seven people.
