Pano Akil: 41 people killed in road mishap
The coach was coming to Karachi from Dera Ghazi Khan.
PANO AKIL (Dunya News) – At least 41 people including children and women were killed in a road accident near Pano Akil tehsil of Sukkur district in Sindh.
A Karachi-bound coach collided with a trailer coming from opposite side on National Highway near Pano Akil, killing dozens of people on spot.
The dead and the injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. According to sources, the death toll may rise due to the lack of facilities at hospital.
It was also reported that only one doctor was available in the hospital at the time of accident.
Six children and five women are among the dead. Meanwhile, most of the victims belonged to Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan.
The police have started the investigation in this regard.
