Karachi: 87 suspects arrested during Rangers raid
An alleged gang war criminal was killed during police encounter in Lyari.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least 68 suspects were arrested during joint operation of police and Rangers in Patel Para while gang war accused was killed in Lyari area of Karachi.
Police conducted search operation in Patel Para to arrest the culprits of Syed Ghulam Haider’s murder. Around 68 suspects were arrested while ammunitions were confiscated. Meanwhile, 19 other accused were arrested during operation in several areas of the troubled metropolis. Huge cache of arms and drugs was seized from the arrested.
Police including the Rapid Response Force conducted search operation in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. All entry/exit points were sealed while five suspects were nabbed. An alleged gang war criminal was also killed during police encounter in Lyari.
