Seven killed in Peshawar blast
The blast occurred in Bhatta Tal Bazar in Sarband area of Peshawar.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least seven persons died and 25 others injured in a blast in Sarband area on Friday.
According to initial details, the blast took place in Bhatta Tal bazaar located in the suburban area of Peshawar that is adjacent to Khyber Agency.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured including children and women to Hayatabad Medical complex. Contingents of police and Frontier Core cordoned off the area and started search operation.
According to Dunya News, a young boy wearing suicide vest targeted a police vehicle and blew himself up. The blast also caused severe damage to shops and vendors carts.
