Sartaj Aziz to attend SAARC Council of Ministers in Maldives

PM's Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will represent Pakistan in 35th session of the moot.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The thirty-fifth session of the SAARC Council of Ministers is being held in the Maldives tomorrow (Wednesday).
Advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will represent Pakistan in the session.
The decision on the inclusion of Turkey as the 10th SAARC Observer State will also be taken up for discussion.
Pakistan supports the role and participation of observers in SAARC as it raises the organization s global stature that s why Pakistan has already given its support for Turkey’s entry into the SAARC as an observer state.
Sartaj will also meet new leadership of the Maldives and exchange views on matters of bilateral interests with them.
