Khuzdar mass graves report presented in SC

Few days back, fifteen bodies were found from two mass graves in Balochistan.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Deputy Commisioner Khuzdar Abdul Waheed Shah presented the Balochistan government s report over Khuzdar mass graves in the Supreme Court today (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.

A three-judge bench of the apex court headed by Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jillani heard the suo motu case relating to the unearthing of 13 decomposed bodies from the mass graves in Balochistan s Khuzdar district.

During case proceedings, the apex court was informed that judicial commission comprising Justice Noor Muskanzai has been constituted to probe the issue of Khuzdar mass graves.

Abdul Waheed Shah told court that samples of dead bodies have been sent for DNA test and initial report will be received on Thursday.

He said fifteen bodies were found from two mass graves.

During the course of hearing‚ Home Secretary said that judicial inquiry will be completed within a month.

Later, the Court adjourned the hearing till 7th of next month.
