OGRA corruption case: 9 including Aqeel Dhedhi put on ECL
Interior minister has included 9 big shots on exit control list.
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) –Names of 9 known personalities, booked in Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) corruption scandal, have been included in the national Exit Control List (ECL) rendering them unable to flee the country.
Sources in the ministry informed that these people were put on ECL due to their alleged involvement in Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) scam.
The Interior Ministry has put names of nine persons including two former Managing Directors (MDs) of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited (SSGPL) on ECL.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed a graft cases against these persons the previous day.
Aqeel Karim Dheedi, Deewan Zia-ur-Rehman, OGRA officer Jawad Jamil, Former President SNGPL MD Rashid Loon, MD SSGPL Zaheer Siddiqui, former MD Azeem Iqbal Siddiqui, GM (Finance) of SSGPL Syed Arsalan, Director SNGPL and SSGPL Mirza Mehmood, Deputy Managing Director of SSGPL Yousaf Ansari included who were put on in ECL.
