Cabinet committee on national security meets in Islamabad

(Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sahrif is chairing meeting of the cabinet committee on national security in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
Advisor on National Security Sartaj Aziz‚ Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan‚ Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif‚ Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid and some other federal ministers besides services chiefs and Chairman Joint Staff Committee are attending the meeting.
Director General Military Operation briefed the meeting regarding internal security situation.
The meeting is expected to finalize the draft of national security policy.
Earlier‚ Chief of Army of Staff General Raheel Sharif called on the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed the issues relating to the national security.
