Lahore restoration projects to be completed soon: Lashari
Says construction work in congested and narrow areas is not an easy task.
LAHORE (Dunya News)- Director General Old City Authority Kamran Lashari has said that the project for restoration and reconstruction of inner Lahore pending for two years would be completed within two months.
He said that construction contractors and workers are bound to face hardships while working in such narrow and crowded localities.
He added that electric wires are being laid in the aforesaid areas while work on restoration of only 2000 houses is underway which would be completed with the passage of time.
Lashari also said that historical gates of traditional Lahore would also be restored and a traditional food festival would also be arranged in this regard.
