Karachi: Three accused arrested during police, Rangers raids
Police claimed that one of the accused was involved in firing on constable.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Three accused were arrested during police and Rangers search operation in different areas of the metropolis.
One accused was arrested, while three others escaped in an alleged police encounter in Sultanabad area on Sunday. Police said that an accused Bakhtiar was captured, while three of his accomplices after trading fire with the police party managed to flee away during an alleged encounter in Sultanabad area here.
Police claimed that the accused was involved in firing on constable Shafique was wanted by them in the case. One 30-bore pistol and bullets were also recovered from the accused Bakhtiar, police said.
Meanwhile, two suspects were arrested during Rangers raid on Abul Hassan Isphani Road. The arrested belonged to a political party.
