11 Balochistan ministers take oath

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai administered the oath to ministers.

QUETTA (Web Desk) - An eleven members of Balochistan Cabinet took oath in a ceremony here on Monday.

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers.

Five cabinet members are from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, including Nawabzada Changez Mari, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Sarfras Domki, Mir Izhar Khan Khosa and Shaik Jaffar Khan Mandokhe.

Three, including Nawab Ayaz Jogezai, Dr Hamid Achakzai and Sardar Mustafa Tareen belong to Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party while ministers from National Party include Rehmat Baloch, Sardar Aslam Bizenjo and Mujibur Rehman Muhammad Hasni.

Talking to media after the oath taking ceremony, Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Maalik said that parliamentary committees of coalition parties had nominated the ministers.

When asked that the all members of the cabinet were Sardars, Maalik said: “it was not my choice; the political parties presented the names for the ministries.”
