Karachi: Lawyers observe strike against colleague's murder

Lower courts in Sindh also went on strike against the brutal murder of their learned counsel.

KARACHI (Dunya News) Lawyers community while showing solidarity with the slain counsel PML-N lawyer wing’s deputy president Nemat Ali Randhawa boycotted court proceedings on Friday. 

Deceased Nimat Ali was gunned down by unidentified miscreants in the area of Nazim Abad last day when he along with his son was on way to home from his office. His son Tauquir Randhawa also sustained severe injuries.

Lawyers while showing their solidarity with slain leaders announced to boycott the court proceedings, causing tremendous problems for clients who were bound to wander here and there.

Jail officials also could not present prisoners in the courts due to lawyers’ boycott.

Likewise, lower courts in Sindh also went on strike against the brutal murder of their learned counsel.
