Angry mob blocks roads after robbers kill trader in Multan
Local trader Majeed was killed when he tried to resist robbers at his shop in Cantt Bazar.
MULTAN (Dunya News) - Three robbers broke into a shop in Cantt Bazaar and gunned down a 60-year-old trader Majeed on resistance. The robbers managed to flee from the scene after the incident.
The enraged traders took out a protest rally after the incident, blocked SP Chowk and Cantt Chowk and pelted stones at the vehicles. The protesters forced the closure of petrol pumps and shops in the area.
The traders said it was the responsibility of the government to protect their lives and properties. They demanded of the Punjab CM to take immediate action for the arrest of Majeed’s killers.
