Five members of banned outfits arrested in Karachi

Law and order situation is yet waving like a pendulum in Karachi despite tall claims of government.

KARACHI (Dunya News) Two more person were killed in incidents of firing and violence in Karachi on Friday while security forces have arrested five activists of banned outs in an operation in Pakhtun Abad. 

An extortionist also has been arrested from Shah Nawas Colony. Forces also conducted a raid on the residence of member National Assembly Shah Jahan Baloch.

According to sources, Rangers launched an operation in Mango Pir area Pakhtun Abad and arrested five workers of a banned outfit. Heavy quantity of sophisticated weapons also has been recovered from their custody.

Security forces also conducted a search operation in the residence of MNA Shah Jahan Baloch and his neighboring houses.

On the other hand, forces arrested an alleged extortionist Muhammad Younas from the area of Khawaja Ajmer Nagri in Shah Nawaz Colony two aides of the accused managed to escape from the scene.

In Ittihad Town, forces raided and arrested five men allegedly involved in heinous crims.

Three more accused of dangerous crimes were also arrested from Clifton Guzri. Police recovered big quantity of weapons out of their possession.

According to Sindh police, more than 100 accused have been arrested from dens of narcotics and gambling.

On the other hand, two more persons were gunned down in various incidents of violence near Orangi Town while both of them are yet to be identified.
