ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - An anti-terrorism court on Friday extended remand of Tauqir Sadiq, former OGRA chairman allegedly involved in multi-billion rupees scam, for 14 days.

The ATC ordered that the accused be produced before the court on August 30. Sadiq told the court that he was detained in a small room where lack of sufficient oxygen was affecting his memory.

A NAB counsel sought 14-day extension in his remand praying the court that some new evidences had been found against the accused and they were required to record statements of some witnesses and notices had been issued to 19 persons.

He told the court that Tauqir Sadiq was not cooperating in the investigation while witnesses were also being threatened. The court accepted the NAB plea and granted 14-day remand.
