SSP, two army officers killed in Chilas shooting
Militants kill two army officers and SSP Diamer in Gilgit-Baltistan's Chilas area.
CHILAS (Dunya News) – A Pakistan Army Colonel, Captain and SSP Diamer were killed as convoy of the SSP came under attack in Chilas area of Gilgit-Baltistan on Monday.
As per details, SSP Diamer Hilal Ahmed was on his way with his staff after attending meeting with security officers in Deputy Commissioner House when unknown outlaws opened indiscriminate fire at his convoy after which the vehicle plunged into trench.
All persons riding in the car were rushed to the Civil Hospital.
The hospital sources said that Pakistan Army’s Colonel Mustafa Jan, Captain Ashfaq and SSP Diamer Hilal Ahmed embraced martyrdom. One more personnel also sustained injuries in the incident.
Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Mehdi Shah condemning the attack expressed solidarity with the family members of martyred persons.
The chief minister also directed the police and security personnel to immediately arrest the culprits.
