Medium flood in Indus River at Chashma, Kalabgh

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Flood Forecasting Dvision on Monday reported that the Indus river at Kalabagh and Chashma and the Kabul river at Nowshera have attained medium flood level.
Currently the Indus river was flowing in medium flood at Chashma and low flood at Tarbela, Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu and Sukkur barrages.
The Ravi river was also in low flood at Baloki.
The actual river flows and reservoir elevations indicate that Mangla and Tarbela dams were at elevations of 1212 feet and 1535 feet respectively, which are 30.30 feet and 14.00 feet below their respective maximum conservation levels of 1550.00 feet and 1242.00 feet.
