Karachi violence claims 6 lives

At least six people were killed in acts of violence in different parts of Karachi on Thursday.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Target killing continues in Karachi as six people, including two cops, were killed in the city on Thursday.

 

According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Star Gate area and injured a man. The incident sparked protest in the area and the protesters blocked Shahra-e-Faisal for all kind of traffic causing a huge traffic jam.

 

In another incident of violence, some unidentified gunmen shot dead a man and wounded another in Baldia Town.

 

An ASI, Mustafa was shot dead in firing in Sindhi Muslim Society while 55-year-old  Salim-ud-Din was gunned down in Khamosh Colony when he came out of a mosque.

 

Some unidentified gunmen opened fire at police officials near Karimabad Furniture Market, killing Riaz and injuring Salim.
