Rojhan: 8 abducted cops rescued from Chotu gang
DPO Rahim Yar Khan has finally accepted that 8 abducted cops have been rescued from Chotu gang.
RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) – According to details, police after failure in their operation against dacoits in Rojhan agreed to four demands of Chotu gang and provided them safe passage after which the dacoits released the abducted cops.
Initially, police had denied the release of abducted policemen and DPO Rahim Yar Khan Sohail Zafar Chattha repeatedly said that the cops were still in the custody of dacoits but the accepted that the kidnapped police officials have been rescued.
He said that police faced hardships during operation against Chuto gang but most of their hideouts in Kacha area and recovered heavy quantity of arms.
He also infored that the dacoits trying to flee from the area on boats. He said that three dacoits were also wounded during exchange of fire with police.
