Karachi violence leaves four dead

A suspected target killer was arrested from Gulistan-e-Johar.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) - At least four persons were killed in different areas of Karachi on Wednesday.

 

Two tortured bodies were found near a poultry farm in Malir Cantt area within the limits of Khokhra Par police station.

 

According to police, the victims identified as Ramzan and Faisal were employees of the poultry farm.

 

Another unidentified body was found in Kaghazi Bazar area within the limits of Meethadar police station.

 

One person named Raza Khan got injured after being attacked by unknown gunmen in Baldia’s Saeedabad Sector IV-B area. He was shifted to hospital but could not survive.

 

On the other hand, Rangers conducted search operation in Gulistan-e-Johar and arrested suspected target killer Nadeem Bihari.

 

According to SSP East, the suspect belonging to a political party is involved in killing of eight people.

 

Violence continues unabated in the country s commercial hub where an average of six people per day are killed in different incidents of violence and former police chief Ahmed Farooqi had said that the violence is beyond the control of law enforcement.

 

By 2013 the murder rate had doubled to about a dozen per day, a report stated.
