Peshawar (Online) - Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has vowed to make model corruption free government in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.


Imran Khan arrived here for his first-ever visit to Peshawar on Monday, the capital city of his party-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.


After recovery from his severe injuries and joining national assembly’s session in Islamabad, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan met his KPK’s party leadership in order to congratulate them for successful running of the provincial setup.


Addressing the media, Imran Khan vowed to establish infra-structure of the provincial setup and he declared that PTI government will publish every development contracts on government’s official website which will increase the public trust on PTI government.


He said that drone strikes connect Pakistan to United States of America war. Moreover, Khan added that poverty and unemployment increased by the terrorism attacks.

He said an ideal accountability body would form while government officials, ministers and leaders would be answerable to public.


Khan said assets of all members of government would be published on government web-site so that no politician may boost his personal business.


He said a corruption free appointment of government jobs would be practiced so that government employees serve people not the government.


He vowed to establish cricket, vally-ball and squish at tehsil level across the province for revival of supports in Pakistan.


The sources closer to PTI said that Imran Khan will address the provincial cabinet in Chief Minister Secretariat while meeting with political coalition partners is also expected on his visit.


It is pertinent to note, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan has currently been administered by Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) as the political party won in majority across the province in election 2013 held on May 11.


Moreover, the coalition partners of the KPK provincial setup are Munawar Hasan-led Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Aftab Ahmad Sherpao-led Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).
