Jamshoro: Old rivalry claims four lives

Revenge is the main motif behind old enmities in which hundreds of people are killed mercilessly.

 

Four persons including two children were killed while four others sustained injuries over an old dispute between rival clans in Jamshoro on Saturday.


According to sources, a clash between rival clans turned violent when armed men targeted their opponents and ultimately gunned down Ghulam Muhammad, Ghulam Sarwer, Ali Hassan and a woman Khudeja.


Apart from this, four girls Rooma, Sohna, Azra and Gurya were hurt and rushed nearby hospital for first aid.


According to police, the deceased woman Khudeja’s husband Haq Nawaz had an enmity with other tribe which armed men barged into the house of Khudeja and gunned innocent people as revenge.


Following the incident, police reached the site of occurrence and shifted bodies to hospital for postmortem while injured ones were referred to Hyderabad.
