LPG price increased by Rs 10 per kg

Domestic cylinder increased by Rs 120 while commercial cylinder has been increased by Rs 480.

 

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - LPG prices in the international market increased by $ 1 per metric ton and price in the international market swelled to $ 760 per metric ton from $759 per metric ton. Despite that meager increase LPG marketing companies and producers increased the prices significantly and LPG prices in Lahore increased to double.

 

After this major increase the new price of LPG in Gilgit, Fata, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Naran, Kaghan and Peshawar will be Rs 135 per kg while domestic cylinder will be available at Rs 1543. In Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Muree, Attock, Mirpur, Jehlum, Bahawalpur, Rahim yar khan and Multan new price of LPG will be Rs 130 per kg and domestic cylinder will be Rs 1484.

 

LPG price in different other cities likely Gujranwala, Fiasalabad, Sialkot, Gujrat will be Rs 125 per kg and domestic cylinder will be available at Rs 1425 while in economic hub of the country Karachi LPG prices has been increased by Rs 120 per kg and domestic cylinder increased to Rs 1366.

 

In Lahore LPG price has been increased to Rs 130 per kg while domestic cylinder increased to Rs 1484.

 

LPG distribution association Irfan Khokhar said that recent price increase is joint consent of LPG marketing and distribution companies which is unfair and unjust with the price stricken masses of the country. He said that OGRA has assured to maintain the prices but unfortunately these assurances are yet to be implemented and LPG maphia once again increased the prices.
