Sales tax imposed on sale, activation of SIM cards
Tax has been imposed on the sale and activation of SIM cards.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has reduced the sales tax on the import of mobile phones whereas tax has been imposed on the sale and activation of SIM cards.
On the import of cheap mobile phones‚ 150 rupees per unit sales tax will be payable‚ 250 rupees on expensive mobiles while 500 rupees sales tax would be payable on the import of Smartphones.
