Sanaullah's condition still critical: Salman Bashir
Sanaullah is still on ventilator, says Pakistan's High Commissioner.
CHANDIGARH (Web Desk) - Pakistan s High Commissioner in New Delhi Salman Bashir on Monday visited seriously injured prisoner Sanaullah.
Talking to media, Salman Bashir said that condition of Pakistani prisoner was not satisfactory as there was no improvement in his critical condition. Pakistani high commissioner said that Sanaullah was still on ventilator and could not be shifted to any place because of his serious condition.
He said that Pakistani high commission in Delhi was in contact with Indian government and put their demand to provide inquiry report of this incident to Islamabad.
Pakistani diplomats also visited the comatose Pakistani prisoner on Sunday, who is being treated here after being attacked by a prisoner in a Jammu jail on Friday.
Sanaullah, lodged in Jammu s Kot Bhalwal Jail, was critically injured after being attacked by ex Indian soldier, prompting Islamabad to demand his immediate release and repatriation. The Pakistani was flown from Jammu to Chandigarh for treatment.
The incident took place a day after Sarabjit Singh, an Indian terrorist, succumbed to grievous injuries sustained in a assault on him in Lahore s Kot Lakhpat Jail.
