Parties avoiding campaign in tribal areas

ANP, JI, PTI, JUI-F and PML-N are all avoiding tribal belt, over terror scare.
PESHAWAR (Online) - Due to inherent dangers of terrorism, volatile nature of region, majority of political parties have regretted, canvassing, holding rallies in tribal areas.
Hence despite one week being left for fast approaching general elections, no major political party has visited or held, addressed any public rally in these tribal areas; leaving an open field for independent candidates to make all hay while sun shines.
Implementation of political act in tribal belt is another reason, that political parties are avoiding the region for their activities, while even PPP is lying low with a rather surprisingly quiet and discreet profile.
Even the former renowned PPP candidate and former Provincial minister Sher Azam is also contesting the elections in an independent capacity.
