Karachi blast: MQM observes shutter-down

The party has announced that a day of mourning will be observed throughout Sindh on Wednesday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) announced to observe mourning across Sindh province in protest over Tuesday blast.
The MQM’s Coordination Committee urged upon the traders, transporters and people at large to keep the businesses of life at standstill today (Wednesday), saying that the nation stands united vis-à-vis the terrorists.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has ordered that his party temporarily shutdown its election offices in Karachi in the wake of attacks on MQM workers and supporters.
The MQM chief strongly condemned the attack on an MQM election camp in Karachi on Tuesday evening. He also said that political and religious parties must condemn all such terrorist attacks.
“In an environment like this, who will come out and cast their vote,” the MQM chief said.
