Police officer, 6 others killed in Karachi
At least six persons including a police sub-inspector were killed in separate incidents of firing.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Two City Wardens were killed and another others injured when some unknown armed men opened fire on their van near Matric Board Office in Naziabad.
Earlier, Sub-Inspector Manzoor Jan was shot dead near Maripur on Friday while a dead body stuffed in a bag was found from Sea View area.
Two people were killed in separate incidents of firing in Korangi Mehran Town and Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
A man namely Salman was killed near Disco Bakery in Gulshan-e-Iqbal while another man was shot dead in Orangi Town.
Meanwhile, residents of Lines Area protested against the Rangers’ operation and blocked the road leading to Sadar Parking Plaza and burnt tyres.
Rangers have arrested several suspected in a targeted operation in the area.
