Cylinder explosion in van kills three
At least three persons including two children died when gas cylinder of a passenger van exploded.
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) - A passenger van coming to Sheikhupura from Hafizabad caught fire when its gas cylinder exploded near Mandi Jhabran killing a woman and a child on the spot while another child succumbed to injuries at hospital.
At least 16 passengers received severe burn injuries who were shifted to hospital by the local residents and Rescue 1122.
According to the eyewitnesses and the wounded, the driver of the van had also fixed petrol can near the cylinder due to which the fire intensified and engulfed the van.
