Farah Diba fake degree case: LHC reserves verdict

The Lahore High Court has reserved the verdict regarding Frah Diba fake degree case.

 
When the court commenced hearing, it was told to the court on the part of petitioner Shahda Perven that fake degree of Frah Deba is violation of the Article 62, 63 of the constitution; so she should be declared disqualified.

 

On the other hand, the lawyer on the part of the accused argued that the allegations leveled against his client are baseless and have nothing to do with the reality.


During hearing, Punjab University lawyer while recording his statement in written said that Frah Deba’s degree according to the record of the varsity has been proved fake and fabricated.


After hearing arguments from both sides, the learned justice has reserved the verdict which would be announced after some time.
