Sindh Governor tenders resignation
Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad has submitted his resignation to President Asif Ali Zardari.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - According to the sources inside Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad has faxed his resignation to the President Asif Ali Zardari, however, president did not accept his resignation.
The sources said that the PPP is trying to convince Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad to take back his resignation and key decisions in this regard are expected in a couple of days.
Talking to Dunya News, PPP leader and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that our doors are still open for talks with MQM. He also said that there is no deadlock between PPP and MQM.
