ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the anti-terrorism court (ATC) to announce the verdict in Shahzeb murder case within seven days.

A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, heard the case pertaining to the murder of 20-year-old Shahzeb.

During the course of proceedings, FIA director Muhammad Malik said that PIA’s protocol admin was involved in the escape of Shahrukh Jatoi to Dubai.

He said the Sindh police have obtained the CCTV footage, adding that those responsible for Jatoi’s escape will soon be arrested.

The bench expressed dissatisfaction on the performance of FIA and rejected its report. The Chief justice remarked that officials involved in the escape of Shahrukh Jatoi have not been arrested as yet.
