Eight militants killed in Orakzai
Forces conducted operation with military jets in Mamozai, Algaji and Landu Qamar areas.
HANGU (Online) - At least eight militants were killed and several others injured in an ongoing operation of Pakistani security forces in parts of Orakzai Agency of the country’s northwestern tribal belt, officials said on Sunday.
Security officials said that the forces conducted operation with assistance of military jets in Mamozai, Algaji and Landu Qamar area of the upper Orakzai Agency. They added that the forces killed eight militants during the operation and destroyed their three hideouts.
Panic and fear has gripped the area due to bombardment and shelling.
Pakistan forces combating Taliban terrorists in the region while military actions against militants increased in recent days.
