8 killed, 6 injured in Karachi firing incidents
At least eight people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi.
Target killing continues in Karachi as eight more people were killed and six others were wounded during the past 24 hours.
According to details, some unidentified gunmen shot dead Asif Khan in Manghu Pir area while Anjum Abbas and his son Asif Abbas were gunned down near Raees Amrohi Society in Orangi Town.
Police have also recovered two bodies near Shoe Market in Garden area. The deceased are stated to be real brothers and identified as Gul Faraz and Aqeel Zar.
Two people were wounded in firing incident in Sarjani 4-K Chorangi while some unidentified persons opened fire near Bata More in New Karachi and injured four people. Tension spread in the area after the firing incident and angry residents torched police check post and a motorcycle.
The protesters also blocked roads for all kind of traffic in the area by burning tyres. Reinforcement of police and Rangers has been sent in the area to bring the situation under control.
