Senior lawyer shot dead in Peshawar
Lawyers strongly protested against the killing of senior lawyer.
PESHAWAR: Advocate Malik Jarar was gunned down in Peshwar’s Gulbahar area on Friday, Dunya News reported.
The senior lawyer was on his way to drop his children to school when unidentified attackers riding on a motorcycle opened fire and killed him on the spot.
The Peshawar High Court Bar Association (PHCBA) announced a two-day boycott of court proceedings against the killing of the lawyer.
Police have launched investigation into the incident.
