SC to resume OGRA implementation case today
NAB and FIA will present report about Tauqir Sadiqs arrest in todays hearing.
The Supreme Court (SC) bench headed by Justice Jawwad Khawaja and comprising Justice Khilji Arif Hussain will resume hearing of the OGRA implementation case today.
During previous hearing, the court had has asked NAB and FIA to present report about Tauqir Sadiq, former chairman of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), on February 7.
Azam Khan, Director Legal of the FIA, had informed the Supreme Court that Tauqir Sadiq is under arrest in Dubai but officials are not handing him to Pakistani authorities for want of more documents.
Upon which, Justice Jawwad Khawaja remarked that evidences suggest that neither these documents would be prepared nor Sadiq will come to Pakistan.
