Fazl says Governors Rule in Balochistan is an undemocratic move.

PESHAWAR/QUETTA: The rally which started from Quetta Science College concluded at Bacha Khan Chowk after marching on different roads.

Hafiz Hamdullah of JUI, Nashnas Lehri of ANP and PPP leaders addressed the participants of the rally. The leaders urged President Zardari to end the Governor’s Rule in the province.

They threatened that protest movement would be extended to the whole province.

Meanwhile, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has declared Governor Rule in Balochistan as an undemocratic move.

Talking to media in Peshawar, he declared the move as quiet an unfortunate one, since the entire Country faced extreme lawlessness; while Governor rule was only promulgated in Balochistan and not in other volatile parts of Country.

He was also chagrined over killing of innocent citizens under pretext of war against terrorism, and said that while Balochistan faced Governor Rule following a ‘mere sit-in’ while KPK faced killings of ministers.

He reminded that he had even strongly opposed any moves for Governor Rule in Punjab.

He also announced that all political parties had agreed over a consensus regarding caretaker setup, while in case President Asif Ali Zardari tenders his resignation, than Assembly would have to elect a new President for next five years.

Maulana accused ANP for fostering terrorism in KPK, and warned that in its bid to absolve itself it of all blames, ANP was trying to join in APC (All Parties Conference), a move that would be unacceptable to JUI.
