ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) chief Tahirul Qadri has requested the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to join his long march in order to bring change in the country.

He was addressing a huge rally in Jinnah Avenue.

Qadri said that Imran Khan was free of corruption.

Referring to his charter of demand, the TMQ chief said that the basic three demands were still the same, adding that the fourth demand explains the mechanism for the implementation of first three demands.

‘We don’t want lawbreakers to become the lawmakers,’ he added.

Slamming the PPP-led government, he said they were not eligible to rule the country. He praised the army for not intervening into the democratic system for the last five years.

Rejecting all allegations, Qadri said he wasn’t aware of SC decision over PM’s arrest.

Meanwhile, strict security measures are in place to avoid any untoward incident in the federal capital.

The TMQ leader kicked off his long march from Lahore on January 13 after government refused to implement his charter of demand.
