YDA to close OPDs across Punjab
Young Doctors Association has announced to close outdoor services across Punjab hospitals tomorrow.
LAHORE:-They also have warned to stop rendering services in other departments of hospitals if police tried to arrest their more colleagues and companions.
According to a statement released by their spokesperson, Young Doctor Association said that doctors were being harassed by the government pertaining to Gujranwala incident. Under the pretext of so-called rules and regulations, doctors are being sacked without any justification.
The angry doctors also warned that if their arrested colleagues were not freed, they would undoubtedly close the outdoor services throughout the province; however the patients would be treated in medical camps installed outside the outdoors.
On the other hand special advisor to Chief Minister, Khwaja Salman is of the view that doctors’ approach towards issue is not reasonable and rationale as their case is being heard in the court and they should wait for the final judgment in this regard.
