Ch Brothers hope long march issue will be resolved
Determined Tahirul Qadri says march will take place and he will now talk only in Islamabad.
LAHORE: PML-Q leaders, accompanied by Malik Riaz, went to the residence of Tahirul Qadri Saturday evening for discussing the long march issue but returned bake after waiting for more than an hour, when Dr Qadri refused to meet them.
Later, talking to media persons Dr Qadri said he avoided the meeting because of the presence of Malik Riaz.
He said he had great respect for Choudhry Brothers but did not want to meet Malik Riaz because of his reputation.
“I have learnt about Malik Riaz that he is notorious for buying people,” he said, adding that nobody could buy him.
“I am not a saleable commodity,’ he said.
He lamented that Choudhry Brothers brought Malik Riaz along with them without informing him.
He further said that now there would be no dialogue with anybody and march will take place at every cost.
Talking to media, Ch Shujjat Hussain said he went there so that the issue could be resolved amicably.
Hailing the services of Malik Riaz for the country Shujjat said he has always played positive role in settling the disputes.
However, Ch Shujjat and Pervaiz Elahi returned after sometime with Malik Riaz and met Dr Tahirul Qadri, after which talking to media Dr Qadri said the long march cannot be postponed.
Ch Shujjat on the occasion said he was hopeful that some way out would be found tomorrow.
