Abbas Sharif laid to rest in Raiwind
PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif�s brother Abbas Sharif was laid to rest on Friday night.
LAHORE: Funeral prayer of Abbas Sharif, brother of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, was offered in Raiwind.
He was laid to rest in the side of his father Mian Mohammad Sharif.
Mian Abbas Sharif was electrocuted after Jumma prayer and was hospitalised but could not survive.
Abbass Sharif 58 has survived with a widow, two sons and two daughters.
He was elected as MNA in 1993 but later he left politics.
PML-Q leaders Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, PPP leaders Manzoor Watoo, Jahangir Badar, Qasim Zia, former Nazim Lahore, Mian Amer Mahmood, former LHC chief Justice Khawaja Sharif, Humayoun Akhtar, former IG Punjab Habib ur Rehman and a large number of PML-N workers attended the funeral prayer.
