Salman Taseer played an important role in the politics of Pakistan especially Punjab. He spent his life with courage and fearlessness and stood for the weak and underprivileged. He was never afraid of controversies and did not remain silent about his stance on various issues.
It is worth mentioning here that no function was arranged by the PPP to observe the death anniversary of one of its important leaders who spoke boldly for the cause of the party and human rights.
