Pak expats play vital role in economic uplift: Raja

Pakistani expatriates have played an important role in economic development, says PM Raja.
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Pakistani expatriates had played an important role in economic development of the country.
He said this while discussing the problems of expatriate Pakistanis living in Glasgow with a delegation led by Ameen Mirza.
Ameen Mirza requested the Prime Minister for resuming Pakistan International Airline's flights between Glasgow and Lahore to facilitate the Pakistani community living there.
The Prime Minister said that the government was committed to facilitate Pakistani community and directed the management of Pakistan International Airlines to resume the flights from Glasgow to Lahore by this summer.
Ameen Mirza thanked the Prime Minister for acceding to a long standing demand of Pakistani community in Glasgow.
