10 killed in Gujranwala road mishap
14 passengers were travelling in the wagon from Sialkot to Lahore.
GUJRANWALA: At least ten people were killed and seven sustained injuries in a collision between a passenger wagon and trucks near Gujranwala on Friday, Dunya News reported.
The accident took place on Aiman Abad road in Daday Wali area in the early hours of Friday, when the wagon was on its way from Sialkot to Lahore.
The ill-fated wagon was overtaking a car when it rammed into a truck coming from opposite direction. Subsequently, another truck hit the van from backside, killing ten passengers on the spot.
Rescue teams present on the accident site shifted the injured to District Headquarter Hospital.
