PAF chief visits Peshawar Air Base

Tahir Rafique Butt visited Peshawar Air Base that was attacked by terrorists on Saturday.
ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, on Sunday visited Peshawar Air Base that was attacked by terrorists on Saturday night.
Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Arif, Air Officer Commanding Northern Air Command and Air Commodore Khawar Hussain, Base Commander Peshawar briefed the Air Chief about the anti terrorists operation conducted by security forces.
The Air Chief, while interacting with officers and security personnel, who jointly conducted the operation, commended their courage to defend the vital national assets.
Tahir Rafique Butt also lauded the timely and efficient response of commanders and troops of PAF Base, Peshawar, which successfully thwarted a major terrorist attack.
He also appreciated the high motivation level of deployed PAF and Pak Army security forces and their resolve to defend the national assets at any cost.
He was accompanied by Air Marshal Muhammad Hasan and Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Administration) during the visit.
