Dual nationality: Deadline to submit affidavits ends today
ECP deadline for the parliamentarians to submit affidavits on dual nationality ends today.
Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) deadline, to submit oaths over dual nationalities, will end tomorrow for the parliamentarians; yet 33 of them have not submitted their oaths.
According to the spokesman of the ECP, total 33 parliamentarians including 4 senators, 16 MNAs and 13 MPAs have not submitted oaths till date.
Apart from 4 senators and 16 MNAs, 10 MPAs of Sindh Assembly, two MPAs of Punjab Assembly and one MPA of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have not submitted their oaths to the ECP.
Those who have not submitted oaths, amongst them are included MNA Abdul Qayyum Khan Jatoi, Haider Abbas Rizvi, Mehreen Anwar Raja, Fiza Junejo, Punjab MPA Rubina Shaheen Watoo, Sindh MPA Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Murad Ali Shah, Raza Haroon and others.
