Quetta: Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan recovered

Dr Saeed thanked all those who made efforts for his recovery.
QUETTA: Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan, a renowned eye specialist, has been recovered after one and a half month, Dunya News reported.
Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan was abducted on October 16 by unidentified armed men from Quetta’s Sariab Road.
Talking to media, Dr Saeed thanked all those who made efforts for his recovery. He said he was released after ransom was being paid.
Meanwhile, the President of Pakistan Medical Association’s (PMA) Balochistan chapter said that a session has been summoned that will decide the future course of action.
Referring to the on-going strike, he refused to give any statement, saying that the decision will be taken in the meeting.
He further said that Doctor Saeed was recovered after paying the ransom, adding that the government had played no role in his recovery. He lamented that the doctors have only demanded security from government.
It is important to mention that the Balochistan doctors’ province-wide strike was being observed from October 16, causing severe difficulties to patients.
