Karachi: Activist of banned outfit arrested
Intelligence agencies have arrested an activist of a banned organization in Karachi.
According to details, the intelligence agencies conducted a raid in the Orangi Town area of Data Nagar during night between Monday and Tuesday and arrested Anees-ur-Rehman, who is stared to be an activist of a banned organization.
The accused is suspected of involvement in recent wave of terrorism in the city. He was shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
Earlier, police have arrested an alleged target killer, Nazim Hussain, from Site area. During initial investigation, the accused has admitted killing of more than 50 people, including some police officials.
